This collection includes works I painted during the most expressive season: Summer. Each of the portraits selected exhibit a verdant depth of color as well as an developed sense of self. The flora paintings share in this sense of strength. Growing among a field of chaos the iris plants bloom seemingly unbothered by the distraction surrounding them.

DANIEL ZIMMERMAN

Daniel Zimmerman is an artist who lives and creates in Atlanta, GA.

His practice involves primarily oil paintings created in his warehouse studio. His work is ever evolving in the themes it explores - and changes regularly as a reflection of what he is perceiving in his daily life. Common topics are related to the areas of personal growth, psychological development, and self expression and how we live in a time when our access to these is greater than ever known before. His work is shown nationally at fine art fairs and can be found in private collections spanning the United States and Europe.
